About Our Team
My name is Nick Spivey, and I’m the Service Manager at Poor Valley Pools. I’ve been working in the pool and spa industry since 2008, building a strong foundation of hands-on experience in repairs, maintenance, plumbing, and equipment diagnostics.
Before joining Poor Valley Pools, I owned and operated Spivey’s Swimming Solutions in Charleston, South Carolina. Running my own company allowed me to develop a reputation for honest service, problem-solving, and quality workmanship — values I continue to bring to every job today.
In 2025, my family and I made the move to Southwest Virginia to be closer to family and put down roots in a community we love. Since then, I’ve been proud to serve local homeowners by helping keep their pools and spas running safely and efficiently.
